This July, VIBE Arts teamed up with StreetARToronto (StART) and began the process of transforming a huge stretch of brick wall into a piece of art. The finished mural, located at Centennial East Recreation Centre at 1967 Ellesmere Road in Scarborough, features multiple species of butterflies and has been named ‘Kaleidoscope’, after the word meaning ‘a collective of butterflies’.…

This June, VIBE Arts launched the new mobile programming initiative, Drive the VIBE, at VIBE Arts Festival. This outreach initiative enables VIBE programming to travel to community events and festivals within the GTA and provincially. The goal of the Drive the VIBE is to engage communities in art-making while creating space for dialogue around area-specific issues affecting youth.…
