VIBE Arts is looking for an Emerging Indigenous Artist to work on a summer mural project under the guidance of a professional artist.

Arts Assistant -­ Bendale Acres Intergenerational Community Mural Project: 1 position available

Location: Bendale Acres Long Term Care, 2920 Lawrence Ave East, Scarborough / VIBE Arts, 401 Richmond St West, Suite 230, Toronto

Day/Time: Monday-­Friday 9:30 am – 4:30 pm (occasional evenings may be required)

Dates: July 4 – August 12, 2016

Rate of Pay: $13 / hour

Thinking Outside the Box with Mud Graffiti

For two consecutive spring weekends in early May, VIBE Arts was the artful inhabitant of a shipping container at Evergreen Brickworks, engaging hundreds of children, families and visitors in creative play. The container, titled the ‘Think Outside Box’, is positioned as a temporary outdoor art installation at the Brickworks for the spring and summer months.
