Press Release: VIBE Arts Introduces a 4-Day Work Week

Starting May 1st, VIBE will be providing its employees a 4-day work week. Staff will be working a 32-hour week, taken Monday-Thursday, while getting paid for a 40-hour work week. 

Why are we doing this?

4-day work weeks have been successful in summer months at VIBE for the past 2 years, with summer 2022 being one the busiest programming seasons we’ve ever had. 

Converge

Converge showcases the collaborative artwork of 16 youth artists on the VIBE Arts roster from different cultural backgrounds. These artists have been paired up to create 8 unique works of art that represent both artists cultural backgrounds in an attempt to put on display the similarities and differences between the roots of those living in Canada.…

Nuit Blanche: The Parallax Path

Featuring a collection of shoes that are significant to each of their journeys, four emerging artists tell their unique stories of how barriers and challenges faced daily have allowed them to share a commonality of resilience.

LaunchPAD Exhibition

September 1, 2022 @ 12:00 pm – October 3, 2022 @ 6:00 pm

5 artists will take over Whippersnapper Gallery for 5 days each. The pieces exhibited are a result of the artists time in the LaunchPAD program.
