VIBE Arts were awarded a 2016 Toronto Foundation’s Vital Ideas Award! The prestigious award is geared to increase capacity and reach of organizations that are already working on effective strategies aligned with the foundation’s goals identified in their annual “Vital Signs Report”. With an investment of $30,000, VIBE Arts will seize the opportunity and buzz afforded by our recent rebranding and 20th Anniversary to greatly improve our educational, communications and online capacities. Building on our new user-friendly website, we’ll take it to the next level with new online systems offering the community arts sector in Toronto (and in particular emerging youth artists), new, accessible and progressive arts-based educational resources, and opportunities for art-makers to profile innovative cultural work. The results, VIBE Arts will attract fresh audiences to our website, organization, and programs while building our capacity and the capacity of the community arts sector.
