Are you passionate about making the arts accessible to young people?
Do you have 4hrs/month to volunteer?
VIBE Arts for Children and Youth is an award-winning charitable organization committed to providing children and youth in under-resourced communities with high-quality community and school-based arts education. We are currently seeking a dynamic, committed, and community-oriented individual to join the Board of Directors as our new Treasurer.
VIBE Arts is seeking a Treasurer.
If you possess any of the following qualities, we are looking for you:
- Hold a CA or CPA designation
- Experience with a small business or non-profit an asset
- Experience providing leadership for multi-year plans and annual budgets
- Experience in risk management from a board governance perspective
- Experience working in or with school boards in the GTA
- Familiarity of, or affiliation with BIPOC communities and issues
- Commitment to the arts in Toronto in your work or life
- Believe in the artistic agency of young people to innovate and build community

*Please note: Employees of VIBE Arts cannot be members of the Board of Directors. A staff member who resigns their position must wait for a period of one year before applying to become a Board member.
About the Board
The VIBE Arts Board of Directors fundraise, advise, govern, oversee policy and strategic direction, and assist with the leadership and general promotion of VIBE Arts.
Members of our board come to us with varying experience to help our organization achieve its goal of providing children and youth in under-resourced communities with high-quality community and school-based arts education.
We are currently accepting applications to welcome a Treasurer to our board.
