We are excited to announce our new Vibe Arts Indigenous Mentorship Program! This is Vibe Arts’ Mentorship program for emerging Indigenous artists in the GTA. The program is catered for emerging artists seeking mentorship as they advance their careers in the arts.
This program is made for young creatives looking to pursue a career in arts education, specifically with youth and children. Whether they are new to facilitation, or have some experience in leading programs and workshops with guidance, participants will gain the tools and resources needed to establish their practice. Through this program, participants will gain access to:
- Workshops on facilitation and arts education
- Mentorship with established Indigenous artists
- Paid opportunities to assist in and facilitate workshops for youth and children
- Support from a network including other Indigenous Artists, Elders, and Knowledge Keepers
This program was designed to amplify Indigenous artists, offer culturally relevant support and contribute to the contribute to the celebration and growth of Indigenous art. We’re grateful to the community members who helped bring this program to life.
The Vibe Arts Indigenous Mentorship Program is currently made possible by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
