Description
The Mixed Media program with youth in North York General’s Eating Disorders unit has been near and dear to my heart. I grew up with an older sister who suffered a severe eating disorder for almost a decade, and was in and out of programs during at time when treatment was not as mental-health focused. I treasure this program and the positive response from the youth participants, many of whom continue to work on their art, after the workshop and throughout the week.
