History

Established in 1995,  by founder, Lola Rasminsky as “Arts for Children of Toronto”, the organization originally functioned as an arts scholarship provider to ensure that any child, regardless of means, could benefit from high-quality, hands-on arts experiences. Our strategic move to shift away from awarding scholarships and concentrate on outreach http://www.asianwomenforum.com/user__profile~logins_key__33143.html programming stemmed from our belief that we would reach more children and provide more accessible programming by ensuring that artists would carry out programs directly in neighbourhoods. Our outreach programs, begun in 2002, are offered at no cost to young people.
